Dara Shikoh was 'deliberately' not given due importance by certain govts: Naqvi

Union minister Mukthar Abbas Naqvi alleged that many governments deliberately did not give due importance to the works of Dara Shikoh, Shah Jahan’s eldest son, who was a poet and a scholar.
Union minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Tuesday said "prejudiced politics” created a misconception about the legacy of Dara Shikoh.
He also said that governments of so-called “champions of secularism” deliberately did not give due importance, recognition to works done by Dara Shikoh like many other great people.
