Danushka Gunathilaka, Kusal Mendis, Niroshan Dickwella banned for a year by SLC for bubble breach in England

Sri Lanka Cricket had suspended Danushka Gunathilaka, Kusal Mendis, Niroshan Dickwella and called them back home from the tour of England in June for breaching the bio-bubble in Durham.

Sri Lanka Cricket on Friday slapped a one-year ban on Danushka Gunathilaka, Kusal Mendis and Niroshan Dickwella from international cricket for breaching the bio-bubble during last month's tour of England. In addition to the international bans, the players have also been suspended from domestic cricket for 6 months and have to pay a hefty fine of 10 million Sri Lankan rupees (USD 50,000 approx) each.
