Danish Ali, Muslim MP Abused In Parliament, Counter's BJP's Provocation Charge

BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri had made Islamophobic statements against Bahujan Samaj Party MP Danish Ali in the Lok Sabha on Thursday.

Hours after a BJP MP wrote to the Lok Sabha Speaker and demanded a probe into the "unsavoury" conduct of Danish Ali as well, the Bahujan Samaj Party MP said he had done nothing to provoke the member who hurled communal slurs at him. 

Mr Ali said he had, in fact, demanded that the objectionable words being uttered against Prime Minister Narendra Modi be expunged from the record.
