A five-month pregnant woman, belonging to the Dalit community, was allegedly beaten up and sexually assaulted in Madhya Pradesh after her husband refused some work.
A pregnant woman belonging to a Dalit community was allegedly beaten up and sexually assaulted in Madhya Pradesh’s Chhatarpur after her husband refused work at the village muscleman’s farm. The woman has alleged that the accused came to her house, thrashed and sexually assaulted her. When the woman’s elderly mother-in-law tried to intervene, she was thrashed as well. The woman’s husband, Baijnath Ahirwar, works as a labourer in Chhatarpur’s Bandargarh village. He was called by the accused for some work. When Baijnath refused, he was threatened with consequences.More Related News
