Singer Daler Mehndi has reportedly become the first Indian to buy land in Metaverse. He has bought the land through the Metaverse platform PartyNite and has named it Balle Balle Land.
Daler Mehndi bought land in Metaverse at an undisclosed amount. He has reportedly become the first Indian to acquire land in Metaverse and has called it Balle Balle Land. The singer took his fans on a virtual tour to his Metaverse land. He will be hosting Bollywood films and music concerts in his Balle Balle Land. Daler bought the land through the Metaverse platform PartyNite.
Balle Balle Land (BBL) is the first land purchased on Metaverse in India. It was inaugurated on Holi and it also features a Daler Mehndi store which will sell merchandise and royal products as both NFTs and physical goods. The entrance of the land is marked by a gigantic golden statue of the land's owner, singer Daler Mehndi.
Daler Mehndi's Instagram bio now reads, "First Metaverse Man, Owner of Balle Balle Land | Creator of Tunak Tunak & Tara Ra Ra singer composer." The singer also shared a video sharing a glimpse of his Balle Balle Land.

Speaking about Balle Balle Land, veteran singer Daler Mehndi said, “I went with an open mind to PartyNite Metaverse and it was a very rewarding experience. Audiences have moved online and I believe it is going to stay. The physical world has its own charm, but with the Metaverse, the sky's the limit. I really enjoyed performing on PartyNite and I wanted a permanent presence and hence created Balle Balle Land. People from multiple countries like Holland, Malaysia, Brunei, Canada are all waiting to be a part of this initiative. This platform will also help me nurture talent and help the music community of Punjab, Sufi, Pop music and Bollywood grow."
Daler Mehndi rose to fame with his song Bolo Ta Ra Ra in 1995, which was followed by hits like Tunak Tunak Tun and Ho Jayegi Balle Balle. The singer has sung chartbuster songs for films lilke Biwi No 1, Baahubali: The Beginning, Dangal and Singh Is Kingg, among others.
