The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly, who is currently hosting Dadagiri Unlimited Season 9, has tested positive for Covid-19 in Kolkata. As a result, the reality show's shoot came to a halt. The former Indian captain has mild symptoms. He has been admitted to the Woodlands Hospital in Kolkata as a precautionary measure.

Sourav Ganguly was admitted to the hospital on Monday night after his test results came out positive. His blood samples will be sent genome sequencing to ascertain if he has contracted the Omicron variant or not. Meanwhile, the shoot of his show Dadagiri Unlimited Season 9 has been stalled for the time being. The cast and crew and contestants of Dadagiri will undergo the necessary tests following the Covid protocols. And, the set will also have to be sanitised.
