A gang of 14 men broke into a car showroom in Bihar’s Patna after killing a security guard and assaulting three other guards who were on duty. The gang escaped with a total of Rs 9 lakh.
A gang of 14 dacoits stabbed a security guard to death, grievously injured 3 other guards and robbed Rs 9 lakh from a car showroom in Bihar’s Patna. The robbers were captured on CCTV cameras present in the Toyota showroom.
The gang entered the showroom in the wee hours of Wednesday, August 10, which is located under the Malsalami police station area. There were a total of four guards in the showroom.
The dacoits attacked the night guard of the showroom, Manoranjan Kumar (42), with knives for not giving up the showroom’s key. He died on the spot, while a second guard was tied with a rope and taken hostage. A third guard, Dilip Kumar, was overpowered by force with the use of a weapon and a fourth guard was knocked unconscious by the gang.
Upon receiving information about the incident, the officials from the Malsalami police station reached the spot and sent the body of the deceased guard, Manoranjan Kumar, for post-mortem.
Further investigations are underway.
