India Today
On a day when Mumbai was lashed with heavy rains and strong winds the whole day, over 500 dabbawalas worked through the extreme conditions to deliver food to those in need.
Mumbai was ravaged by heavy rains as Cyclone Tauktae hurtled towards the land on Monday. Visibility in Mumbai remained low and people were asked to stay indoors. However, dabbawala Balu Pisal refused to stay indoors. He said he has to take the dabbas to some people in dire need. Pisal was soaked head to toe as he rode his bicycle with a few lunchboxes hanging around. The number of lunchboxes was way less than a regular Monday.More Related News
