The Indian Navy has rushed its warships to rescue two Indian boats that are stranded in the Arabian Sea as Cyclone Tauktae advances towards the Gujarat Coast.
Responding to SOS calls from boats stranded at sea amid Cyclone Tauktae, the Indian Navy has pressed its warships and air assets into action for rescue missions. The navy received a request for assistance for Barge 'P305' adrift off the Heera Oil Fields in Bombay High area with 273 people on board. A second barge with 137 people has also gone adrift 8 nautical miles off Mumbai. Besides, INS Talwar is also preparing to sail out to join the rescue mission.
