Ajay Devgn-starrer Maidaan set has been destroyed by Cyclone Tauktae. Producer Boney Kapoor recently talked about rebuilding the film’s set for the third time.
The sets of Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan have been damaged in Cyclone Tauktae. The film’s producer, Boney Kapoor, is distraught as he will have to put up the set for the third time. Last year, he had to dismantle Maidaan set due to the lockdown imposed to curb the novel cornavirus pandemic. Now, Boney Kapoor says, unlike the second time, when he could reuse most of the material, the third time will have to be rebuilt from scratch as ‘hardly anything is salvageable’. Boney Kapoor in a recent interview said that he will go into depression if he thinks about budget overshooting and expenses after Maidaan set damage. He told Hindustan Times, Boney Kapoor said about Maidaan set damage, “What I am going through is horrible. I don’t want to be reminded of it. If I think about the pressure or feelings or loss, I will start crying. If I think about the budget overshooting and expenses pilling up, I might go into depression. Mera dil hi nahin kar raha ke set dekhu abhi. (I don’t even feel like looking at the set right now).”More Related News
