West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, who kept PM Modi and Bengal Governor waiting for almost 30 minutes for Cyclone Yaas review meet, said that she has submitted proposals seeking Rs 20,000 crore funds from the Centre for redevelopment of areas affected by the cyclone.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday said that she has submitted two proposals to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, seeking Rs 20,000 crores for the redevelopment of Digha and Sunderban areas severely affected by Cyclone Yaas. Addressing a press conference, Mamata Banerjee said that she and her chief secretary (CS) submitted two proposals. "I, along with my CS, handed over a report of our damages to the PM. We told him to please consider it. We have so far assessed damages worth Rs 20,000 crore," Mamata Banerjee said.More Related News
