Custom seizes four gold chains weighing 1,000 grams at Delhi’s IGI Airport, two arrested

Two persons have been arrested at IGI Airport for smuggling gold chains worth Rs 43.63 lakh and iPhones worth Rs 2.26 lakh.
The custom officials arrested two persons for smuggling gold and iPhones at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport in Delhi on Sunday.
The accused arrived at terminal 3 of the Delhi airport from Dubai.
As many as four gold chains, collectively weighing 1,000 grams, worth Rs 43,63,200, and three Apple iPhones worth Rs 2,26,000 were recovered.
The gold chains were recovered from the high neck shirts which they were wearing while iPhones were recovered from their luggage.
A case has been registered and both the accused have been arrested.
