Cuomo's past comments on sexual harassment resurface after bombshell report
Fox News
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo repeatedly spoke out in support of women and backed a zero-tolerance policy on sexual harassment during the height of the #MeToo movement, even as state Attorney General Letitia James announced Tuesday that he sexually harassed multiple women during his time in office.
The state attorney general found that the governor engaged in "unwelcome and nonconsensual" touching and that he made numerous offensive comments of a suggestive and sexual nature that "created a hostile work environment" for women and fostered a culture "filled with fear and intimidation." Calls to impeach Cuomo poured in shortly after James released her findings. The governor, who has denied wrongdoing in the past, remained defiant in a public address after the report was released, stating that "the facts are much different than what has been portrayed."More Related News
