Gov. Cuomo is facing growing pressure to take action against Ben and Jerry’s and parent company Unilever after the ice cream provider announced they would no longer do business in parts of Israel.
Under the terms of Cuomo’s own 2016 executive order, New York State is enjoined from doing business with any company engaged in the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions campaign against Israel — and critics say it’s time to put up to shut up. “I call on him to enforce his order that bans the State of New York from doing business with companies that engage in the anti-Semitic BDS movement,” Schuylerville Rep.
