IPL 2021: After their table-topping win over Royal Challengers Bangalore in Mumbai, MS Dhoni said Chennai Super Kings are not doing anything drastically different from last year. Ravindra Jadeja's all-round effort helped CSK hammer RCB on Sunday.
Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni was delighted with Ravindra Jadeja's all-round effort, especially his big-hitting display in their 69-run win over Royal Challengers Bangalore in Match 19 of IPL 2021 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. MS Dhoni acknowledged that Ravindra Jadeja's batting has undergone a significant change for good in the last few years and that gives him the option of giving his premier all-rounder a few more overs in the middle. Jadeja showcased his class with the bat, hitting 62 not out in just 28 balls against RCB. He smashed 5 sixes and a boundary in the final over bowled by Harshal Patel as CSK picked up 37 runs to post 191 for 4 on the board. Jadeja was impossible to bowl at as he connected everything he swung at, equalling Chris Gayle's record for the most runs scored in an over in the IPL. Jadeja finished with 5 sixes and 4 boundaries as CSK went from 154 to 191 in a span of 6 balls. Jadeja also equalled the record for most sixes hit by a batsman in an over in the IPL.More Related News
