CSK vs PBKS: MS Dhoni does Jonty Rhodes, runs out Bhanuka Rajapaksa with a diving direct hit

MS Dhoni turned back the clock as his diving direct hit was responsible for the run out of PBKS batsman Bhanuka Rajapaksa in an IPL 2022 match between Chennai Super Kings and Punjab Kings.
CSK star MS Dhoni revived the memories of Mustafizur Rahman's 2016 T20 World Cup dismissal with a diving direct hit to run out PBKS batter Bhanuka Rajapaksa in an IPL 2022 match between Chennai Super Kings and Punjab Kings on Sunday. Dhoni went flying on the stumps and released the ball just in time to run out the PBKS batsman.
After hitting Chris Jordan for a massive six, Rajapaksa pushed the ball towards short mid-wicket to pick up a single. At first, Shikhar Dhawan responded to the call but then he saw Chris Jordan coming onto the ball in a flash. Dhawan turned back but Rajapaksa was stranded halfway. Jordan went for a direct hit at the batter's end but missed. Dhoni did extremely well to dive to collect the ball and threw it onto the stumps. The decision was taken upstairs and Rajapaksa wasn't even in the frame.
