Crude bomb detected along Assam-Mizoram border defused safely

A crude bomb detected along the Assam-Mizoram border has been diffused safely by the police.

The crude bomb which was detected by the Cachar district police nearby an under-construction site along the Assam-Mizoram border five days back was defused on Wednesday.

A bomb squad team of Assam police had safely defused the bomb at a place near the interstate border.
