Crucial Meet In Home Ministry Today On Security Preps For G20 In Kashmir

Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbagh Singh, Chief Secretary Arun Kumar Mehta, and DG CID R R Swain are among the top officials likely to attend the meeting at 5 pm, officials said.
A day before Union Home Minister Amit Shah review meeting on Jammu and Kashmir, a crucial meeting for the ongoing preparations for G20 summit in the union territory is scheduled in the North Block.
"The ministry is slated to review prevailing security situation along with the developmental progress made in various projects," a senior officer told NDTV.
The meeting, which will be chaired by top officials of the Home Ministry, will include preparations for G-20 summit meetings to be held in Srinagar in May, the security situation and the progress of various developmental projects going on in the union territory among other key issues.
