Critics celebrated Harvard president Claudine Gay's announcement that she would resign amid allegations of plagiarism and a sharp backlash against her response to antisemitism.

The resignation of Harvard’s antisemitic plagiarist president is long overdue," House Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., told Fox News Digital following Gay's announcement.
