CBC
A police car with a crushed front end sits on the median of Winnipeg's Main Street, with a trail of debris leading to a pickup truck on an adjacent boulevard.
The scene, just south of Kildonan Park, is the aftermath of a crash that happened just after 4 a.m. Wednesday, police say.
A police spokesperson said there are a number of people injured, including police officers, but wouldn't give any details on their conditions.
One person is in custody.
The crash has shut down Main in all directions between Kilbride and Hartford avenues. The closure is expected to last several hours, possibly until noon, the police spokesperson said.
