Communist Party of India (Marxist) supporters clashed with police in West Bengal’s Burdwan alleging the TMC of corruption.
The supporters of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) clashed with West Bengal police in Burdwan on Wednesday over a recruitment scam and corruption issue against the Trinamool Congress government in the state.
CPIM supporters fought a pitched battle with police in Burdwan. They had called for a law violation program in the city over recruitment scams and corruption.
The police had to resort to tear gas as protestors tried breaking barricades and pelted stones at the police.
