India Today
Bharatiya Janata Party MPs and MLAs appealed to Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor on Tuesday to ensure coordination and involve the municipal corporations in the city’s battle against Covid-19.
As Covid-19 cases in Delhi rise rapidly, members of the Bharatiya Janata Party appealed to Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal on Tuesday to ensure coordination at various administrative levels in the city’s battle against the pandemic. They specifically suggested that the municipal corporations be involved in the measures being taken. Several suggestions given to @LtGovDelhi are: MCD should be speedily allowed to set up Covid sections in their hospitals and Quarantine centres in their community halls & schools. Govt should arrange a centralized system to provide medicines to patients in home isolation. Delhi BJP President Adesh Gupta, along with other leaders of the party, urged Baijal to ‘act tough’. They slammed the Delhi government and claimed that it is neither improving the situation nor involving the opposition. The BJP leaders told Baijal, who is also the head of the Delhi Disaster Management Authority, that now is the time for working cohesively to help people.More Related News
