With several states planning stricter curbs in the wake of rising Covid-19 cases, Indian firms are again under pressure. In a recently conducted poll, CEOs of many firms expressed how authorities can deal with the Covid-19 situation without harming business activity.
Lakhs of Indian companies are worried about stricter localised restrictions in the wake of rising Covid-19 cases in the country. A poll of CEOs conducted by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has revealed that 75 per cent of 710 CEOs supported micro-containment as an effective strategy to curb rising cases. The CEOs suggested that partial lockdowns imposed in some states to contain Covid-19 could significantly disrupt industrial production due to the impact on labour and goods movement.More Related News
