Covid positive woman found lying on bench outside Bengaluru hospital waiting for ambulance

A Covid positive woman was found lying on a bench outside a Bengaluru hospital for over 5 hours. The hospital couldn't take her in as she was Covid positive and she kept waiting for her brother, who didn't show up.

A Covid positive patient in Bengaluru was seen lying on a bench outside a hospital for several hours before she was taken to another hospital for treatment. A video of the incident is now doing the rounds on social media. The video shows the woman lying on a bench outside the Mallya Hospital in Bengaluru and a person is heard asking her why she is lying there. She tells him that she is Covid positive and also a dialysis patient. She also tells him that she is not allowed inside the hospital since she is infected with Covid-19 and has been waiting since 12.30 pm. She apparently waited till around 6 pm before being shifted to the Rangadore Memorial Hospital in Basavanagudi.
