A woman in Pune died after she fell from the bathroom window of a government hospital where she was admitted after testing positive for Covid-19.
A 45-year-old woman died after she fell from a washroom window of Sassoon Government Hospital in Pune on Tuesday. She had been arrested for abetment-to-suicide and was admitted to the hospital after testing positive for Covid-19, the police said. The accused, Dipti Kale, fell to her death from the eighth floor of the hospital while allegedly trying to escape through a bathroom window. She was shifted to the hospital from Yerwada prison on April 25, assistant commissioner of police (ACP) Sushma Chauhan said.
