Covid-19: Why third dose debate in India remains inconclusive?
India Today
As the Omicron virus spreads across the country, the need for a booster shot or an additional jab may feel more pressing than ever. However, the question of why the third dose debate is still unresolved in India remains unanswered.
The debate on a third Covid vaccine dose seems to be getting nowhere as experts deliberated the issue in the sub-group meeting of the National Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation.
The meeting was scheduled at the last minute, after several months of flip-flops on the booster dose, even as most western countries began administering it. After the new variant Omicron entered the country, the discussion became all too necessary.
