Covid-19: Uttar Pradesh becomes first state to vaccinate over 9 crore people

Uttar Pradesh has become the first state in India to administer more than 9 crore Covid-19 vaccine doses. A total of 9.01 crore people in Uttar Pradesh have been vaccinated so far.
Setting another record, Uttar Pradesh became the first Indian state on Wednesday to inoculate more than 9 crore people with Covid-19 vaccines. The state has administered a total of 9.01 crore vaccine doses so far since the launch of the nationwide Covid vaccination drive in January.
Uttar Pradesh is racing past other Indian states in attempting to mitigate the anticipated third wave of Covid-19 through vaccination.
