Nissan claimed that it has donated Rs 2.20 crore to Tamil Nadu State Disaster Management Authority, Rs 25 lakh to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund and over Rs 4.30 crore for essential medical equipment.
With the country battling the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, Nissan today announced that it has contributed more than Rs 6.75 crore, in cash and kind, towards relief efforts. According to the automaker, it has donated Rs 2.20 crore to Tamil Nadu State Disaster Management Authority, Rs 25 lakh to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund and over Rs 4.30 crore for essential medical equipment. Nissan claimed that over the past few months, it has distributed N95 masks, PPE kits, oxygen concentrators, portable ECG machines, X-ray machines, pulse oximeters and nasal oxygen machines to hospitals Delhi-NCR and Tamil Nadu (Chennai, Cuddalore and Mayiladuthurai).More Related News
