COVID-19: List Of Universities, Colleges Closed In Different States

With the unanticipated increase in active COVID-19 cases, several states and Union Territories have shut down schools, colleges, universities and other educational institutions. States including Haryana, Odisha, West Bengal and Rajasthan have closed down schools and colleges in the state.
With the rapid increase in active COVID-19 cases, several states and Union Territories have shut down schools, colleges, universities and other educational institutions. States including Haryana, Odisha, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Rajasthan have closed down schools and colleges in the state. Amid the recent spike in COVID-19 cases, several states have also announced promotion of students without exams. Physical classes for all the students were cancelled last year due to the onslaught of coronavirus and learning continued online. Towards the end of 2020 and in early 2021, most of the states had reopened schools, especially for board exam students. Schools were closed again, as the number of coronavirus cases rose across the country. In such a situation, several states have decided to promote students, excluding those who will appear for their final exams. Several universities have also postponed their semester exams scheduled. Maharashtra University Of Health Sciences have postponed their exams for medical students. University exams in Uttar Pradesh have been postponed till May 15. All university exams in Rajasthan have been postponed till further notice. Kerala universities have also postponed their undergraduate and postgraduate exams.
