The Kerala government has decided to ease up on Covid-19 curbs and reopen schools and colleges in the state. Colleges will reopen on February 7, while Classes 1 to 9 in schools will begin on February 14.

According to sources, colleges will be reopened on Monday, February 7 and schools for students from Class 1 to 9 will begin on February 14.
Recoveries eclipsed fresh infections as the daily Covid-19 cases in Kerala decreased on Thursday, February 3, with the state recording 42,677 new cases, raising the caseload to 61,72,432.
