Many students are struggling emotionally due to the postponement of exams and imposition of lockdowns and curfews amid the current Covid-19 surge.
State after state is imposing curfews and partial lockdown to curb the surge in numbers, but a longer quarantine period, fear of infection, helplessness, frustration, boredom, inadequate information, and financial loss is creating stress for citizens. Lockdown affects different people differently. For some, it is a time to take a break and to look at priorities for others it is an extremely stressful time that leads to anxiety and various degrees of depression.
