County Championship: R Ashwin to play for Surrey against Somerset ahead of England Tests

India tour of England: Off-spinner R Ashwin has agreed to represent Surrey in their county championship match against Somerset at the Oval in London from Sunday. After the one-off arrangement, he will link up with the rest of the Indian Test squad ahead of the England series.

India off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin is all set to play for Surrey in their County Championship fixture against Somerset at the Oval in London from Sunday, July 11. Ashwin has played for Nottinghamshire and Worcestershire in the past.
