Country star Zach Top says 'life's too fast' after ditching farm life for music career
Fox News
Rising star Zach Top has fond memories of getting his "hands dirty" on his family's farm in Sunnyside, Washington. Top left farm life behind to pursue a career in country music.
"I look back on growing up on that farm with only fond memories. It was awesome getting to grow up around animals and, you know, learning how to work like that and everything. I think it was really valuable and a cool way to grow up." Janelle Ash is an entertainment writer for Fox News Digital. Story tips can be sent to janelle.ash@fox.com.
"Life's way too fast, too," the "Cold Beer & Country Music" singer said. "It seemed like it was pretty slow moving. I guess it always is when you're a kid a little bit. But, yeah, it just felt like a routine every day. And, you know, probably the biggest thing is waking up in the same spot when I was growing up.
"Now, I never wake up in the same town," he added. "I wake up somewhere else. I've got to figure out where I am the next morning. So, there's a lot of changes for sure, and I'm grateful for a lot of them. There's a lot of them that I'd rather live without, you know, kind of makes me miss the way I grew up, I guess."
