Restrictions on public transport, educational institutions to continue, says Mamata Banerjee
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday said the COVID-19 related restrictions in the State will be extended till June 15. The State is already under restrictions to contain the spread of pandemic till May 31. The Chief Minister also announced that the State Board examinations for classes XII and X will be held in the last week of July and second week of August respectively.More Related News
Capt. Brijesh Chowta, Dakshina Kannada MP, on Saturday urged Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to facilitate speeding up of ongoing critical infrastructure works in the region, including Mangaluru-Bengaluru NH 75 widening, establishment of Indian Coast Guard Academy, and merger of Konkan Railway Corporation with the Indian Railways.
