
Cops identify victims, motorist in fatal drunk driving crash near JFK

A Long Island mother and her 10-year-old daughter were identified as the victims in a grisly car crash involving a drunk driver Saturday near JFK International Airport, according to police.
Isabella Granobles of Copiague, a hamlet on Long Island, and her mother, Diana Granobles, 31, were killed in the collision at Rockaway Boulevard and Guy R Brewer Boulevard, according to police. The pair were pronounced dead at Jamaica Hospital. The two were hit in their 2019 Chevy Cruz by Tyrone Absolam, 42, and he faces charges of manslaughter, vehicular manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide, assault and driving while intoxicated, the NYPD said. Absolam, who lives in Jamaica, Queens, was speeding in a 2018 Nissan Altima, cops said.More Related News
