COP26 begins: PM Modi to launch 2 key initiatives, says Indian envoy to UK

COP26 kicked off on Sunday in Glasgow. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is among the world leaders who will address the summit. According to India's envoy to UK Gaitri Issar Kumar, PM Modi will launch two key initiatives.
The 26th Conference of Parties (COP26) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) kicked off on Sunday in Scotland's Glasgow and will conclude on November 12. The summit will see participation from delegates representing about 200 countries and the discussions will be centred on how to cut global emissions by 2030. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is among the world leaders who will address the World Leaders' Summit of COP26, to be held on November 1 and 2.
