
Cooking gas gets costlier by Rs 50 after domestic LPG cylinder price hike

The liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) price on Sunday was hiked by Rs 50 per cylinder.
The liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) price on Sunday was hiked by Rs 50 per cylinder in line with a spike in international energy prices. A 14.2-kg non-subsidised domestic gas cylinder will cost Rs 999.50 per cylinder from today.
The price of 14.2 kg Domestic LPG cylinder increased by Rs 50 with effect from today. The domestic cylinder will cost Rs 999.50/cylinder from today.
The hike in cylinder prices has come at a time when people are already troubled by the rising prices of petrol and diesel in the country.
However, this is the first increase in LPG rates since early October.
The prices of commercial LPG cylinders were increased earlier this month.
