Contaminated water supply kills 1, leaves 10 sick in Kolkata

One person has died and 10 others have fallen ill after drinking water contaminated by sewage in Kolkata's Bhowanipore area.

Atleast one person has died and 10 others have fallen sick after consuming contaminated water in Kolkata's Bhowanipore area. The water was reportedly contaminated with sewage and was supplied to multiple houses by the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC). One resident of the KMC labour quarters on Sashi Sekhar Bose Row died after drinking the water supplied by the civic body on Saturday.
