Retired Supreme Court Justice Kurian Joseph has written to Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, urging him to open up places of worship to the public as the second Covid-19 wave has “significantly” slowed down. Commending the efforts of the government and healthcare workers in combating the pandemic, Justice Kurian said it was "heartening and relieving" that the intensity of the second wave has “come down” in Delhi. As the capital unlocked in a phased manner, restaurants, bars, theatres and auditoriums were permitted to resume operations at 50 per cent capacity.More Related News
