The Andhra Pradesh Congress workers staged a unique protest by frying what they called a "Twitter bird" to voice their opposition to the micro-blogging site’s punitive action against party leader Rahul Gandhi. Twitter had locked Rahul Gandhi’s account over alleged violation of its norms when the Congress leader raised the issue of rape of a minor Dalit girl in Delhi.
