Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President and MP A Revanth Reddy announced that the Congress party would wage a long and decisive battle to protect the interests of paddy farmers of Telangana.

In his concluding speech of the two-day 'Vari Deekhsha' organised by Kisan Congress at Dharna Chowk, Indira Park on Sunday, Revanth Reddy informed that an all-party delegation would submit a representation to Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan on November 29. Besides raising the issue of paddy procurement in the Parliament, a dharna is being planned at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi between December 9 and 13.
