Congress to put up show of strength tomorrow when Rahul Gandhi appears before ED

Ahead of Rahul Gandhi’s appearance before the ED on June 13, the Congress has asked all its leaders and MPs to reach party headquarters in Delhi to put up a show of strength.
Congress leader Sachin Pilot hit out at the Centre over summons by the Enforcement Directorate against Rahul Gandhi. In a show of political strength, Sachin Pilot said that all Congress MPs, working committee members, and prominent party leaders will accompany Rahul Gandhi as he appears before the agency in Delhi on Monday, June 13.
“Is it possible that no BJP leader in the whole country has done any such work which should be raided, investigated or summoned?” the Congress leader asked on Sunday.
“Tomorrow all MPs, working committee members, and prominent leaders will accompany Rahul Gandhi in Delhi,” Sachin Pilot was quoted as saying by ANI.

Sachin Pilot had earlier slammed the Centre for targeting Congress leaders and accused it of engaging in vendetta politics.
"The central government has been carrying out a politics of vendetta. Our leaders have been targeted. Whether it be Sonia Gandhi or DK Shivakumar or other Congress leaders, they have been targeted. ED notices have been issued to them," he said.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi to appear before it in connection with a money laundering case related to the National Herald newspaper.
