Four months ahead of the Gujarat assembly election, former home Minister Naresh Raval and MP Raju Parmar might leave Congress and join the BJP.
Amid news of lack of tuning and coordination between Gujarat state in-charge Raghu Sharma and Congress leaders in the state, former home Minister Naresh Raval is likely to resign from Congress and might soon join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Also, MP Raju Parmar might join Raval and resign from the party.
With just four months left for Gujarat assembly election, the news of top leaders exiting Congress and joining BJP might come across as a shock for the party.
This decision has been taken after alleged resentment with Gujarat in-charge Raghu Sharma and Congress President Jagdish Thakor.
Congress has not been able to prepare its ground properly in the election field of Gujarat. The Congress party in Gujarat is visibly scattered with the exit of top leaders like state in-charge are Hardik Patel, Jayrajsinh Parmar, Keval Joshiyara, Indranil Rajyaguru, Shweta Brahmbhatt.
Hardik Patel, who joined the BJP two months ago, had earlier stated multiple times that he was not happy with the state Congress leadership. Hardik Patel and Raghu Sharma had also issued several statements attacking each other in the past.
