Speaker Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri on Thursday said he was unable to bring the Assembly under control even as MLAs continued to speak one after another on the recent spate of floods and crop losses.
Former assembly speaker and Congress MLA KR Ramesh Kumar came under fire for making a controversial rape comment on the floor of the House on Thursday. The present Speaker Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri, however, laughed it away.
