Congress is 'Innova party', will become 'scooter party': UP minister Satish Mahana

At the Panchayat Aaj Tak event, Uttar Pradesh minister Satish Mahana took a swipe at Congress and said the party is a "seven-seater" party in the state and soon it will become a "scooter party" in the upcoming state assembly polls.

Taking a dig at the Congress party, Uttar Pradesh minister Satish Mahana on Friday said the Congress is a "seven-seater" party in the state and its status would decline further in the upcoming assembly polls. Speaking at the Panchayat Aaj Tak event, Mahana said, "The Congress is an Innova [referring to the SUV] party. Innova party means, Innova has seven seats and the Congress has seven seats in Uttar Pradesh Assembly. Now, it will become a scooter party. This means it will have one-plus-one seat. And, the BSP will become the Innova party."
