Congress brings Ashok Gehlot, Sachin Pilot together for crucial assembly bypolls

Assembly bypolls scheduled in three assembly constituencies of Rajasthan in April will bring Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot together for campaigning in Churu, Rajsamand and Bhilwara.

Crucial assembly bypolls, scheduled in three assembly constituencies of Rajasthan in April, will bring Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and his former Deputy Sachin Pilot together on Tuesday as the duo will be campaigning for the party's candidates in Churu, Rajsamand and Bhilwara. They are scheduled to address public meetings in Sujangarh in Churu post 11 am, in Bhilwara's Sahada around 1 pm, and in Rajsamand for the Congress candidate post 3 pm. Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot have had a chequered past given the political tussle they had been involved in last year when Sachin Pilot had openly rebelled along with 18 MLAs. Sachin Pilot was subsequently fired from his post of deputy chief minister and that of the state party president.
