Congress boycotts Om Birla's joint session address in Karnataka Assembly

Karnataka Congress decided to buycott Om Birla's address as the party said that such an address is 'unconstitutional'.

The Karnataka Congress decided to boycott Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla's address to the joint sitting of the State Legislature on Friday, stating that such an address is "unconstitutional".

The Lok Sabha Speaker's address saw the participation of the chairman of the state legislative council Basvaraj Horatti, assembly speaker Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri, state ministers, MLAs, MPs and MLCs and other dignitaries.
