Congress asks Twitter to put ‘manipulated media’ tag on ‘toolkit’ posts of 11 Union ministers
India Today
Congress has written to Twitter demanding that the tweets of 11 Union ministers, including Piyush Goyal and Smriti Irani, be flagged as manipulated media as they had shared Sambit Patra's 'toolkit' tweet.
Even as the toolkit controversy surrounding the tweets of several BJP leaders rages on, Congress has now sent a letter to Twitter demanding the ‘manipulated media’ tag on the posts by 11 union ministers, including Smriti Irani, Piyush Goyal and others. Twitter had earlier flagged a tweet of BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra who shared screenshots of an alleged Congress toolkit on defaming the Modi government. Now Congress has written to Twitter demanding that the tweets of 11 Union ministers who had shared Patra’s toolkit post be also flagged as ‘manipulated media’. Congress has demanded similar action against Union ministers Piyush Goyal, Smriti Irani, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Giriraj Singh, Prahlad Joshi, Dharmendra Pradhan, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Thawarchand Gehlot, Harsh Vardhan, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi and Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.More Related News
