"BJP's mission is to strengthen Chhattisgarh's identity. BJP's mission is to protect the rights of tribals and the backwards, " PM Modi said in Chhattisgarh.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday attacked the Bhupesh Baghel government in poll-bound Chhattisgarh, saying "Congress and development cannot exist together". He said that the BJP's mission is to strengthen the state's identity and the rights of tribals and the backward sections.
Addressing a rally in Kanker, PM Modi accused the Congress government in the state of "corruption" and alleged that its leaders had worked for their own benefit.
"The people of the state and BJP worked together for the formation of Chhattisgarh...Till the time the Congress government ruled they kept fighting with the BJP government here. But we still worked for the development of the state...This election is not just to elect an MLA, or Chief Minister, but it is an election to decide your and your children's future," he said.
