Talking to India Today TV, AICC general secretary (organisation) KC Venugopal said, “It is a very burning issue in the country now. So many youngsters have lost their jobs during the Covid period and the post-Covid period. And no new opportunity for youngsters for unemployment. This is due to bad policies of the Modi government.
"That’s why we are going to have a massive protest on August 5 across the country. We have been raising this matter in House, but the government isn’t hearing. There is only one agenda that is to divide the country," KC Venugopal added.
According to sources, Congress has zeroed in on the “Five Point Protest” strategy, which includes a protest march from Parliament and ‘gherao’ of the PM’s residence in Delhi, to corner the government on unemployment and price rise issues.
